If the weather is horrible we’ll make a b-line to Cozmic Pizza but if it isn’t too bad we’ll zig-zag through the neighborhoods and see more lights… and who knows, maybe even squeeze in some Kidical Caroling!

2:00 PM- Ride from the Party to the Corner Market (corner of River Rd. & Thomason Ln) where we’ll be carving pumpkins! We’ll have a couple dozen free pumpkins to give away along the ride (actually tickets that you redeem) for best dressed bikes, super spirit, cool costumes, and other randomly selected categories. Be sure and bring a few dollars to buy some extra pumpkins to carve too!

Meet us at any point to join in the fun and peel off whenever you need to, it should be a super fun day!!

Make the event unmistakably “Eugene”, by wearing a costume and decorating your bike with bright colors, balloons, ribbons, etc.

Be sure and pack a lunch or eat right before you meet us if you’re going to do the whole afternoon. We will probably have time to eat at the party.

The ride will leave from the Sheldon Community Pool at 2 p.m. If families are interested in practicing any pirate skills such as walking the plank or diving for Davy Jones’ locker the Sheldon Pool recreation swim is open Noon-2 p.m. Once we cast off from the dock at Sheldon we will attempt to cross the brand new Delta Ponds Bike/Ped bridge which will have it’s opening day on September 11th. If the Northwest passage across the Delta waterway is impassable we will take an alternate southern route across the city’s main waterway crossing into downtown, Ferry Street Bridge.
